Honestly, what a read. Giving it 5🔥 because it can be incredibly explicit but not quite in the same way as a spicy smut book.

Gillian Anderson, of Sex Education and X-Files fame, followed in the footsteps of Nancy Friday and invited women from across the globe to contribute their fantasies anonymously. You can see the is a range of voices in here and that feels important. I could not put it down and read half on the plane ride from the airport in which I found it and the other half on a sailboat with near strangers (one way to bond with a new crew).

In summary, it is a much needed spotlight on women's fantasy and great follow up to Nancy Friday's 1970s book. Full of hope, sadness, joy, an unreasoned amount of shame and lots of erotica. Reading will open your eyes to the breadth of what women want and, in my opinion, deserve.
