Save a horse, ride a cowboy ðŸ¤
Hot standoffish country boy with sad backstory? Check. Slick city girl with equally sad backstory? Check. Absolute cliché of a book? Check check check.
Summer Hamilton, some sort of PR newbie, ends up ‘babysitting’ bull-rider extraordinaire, Rhett Eaton, who’s fame, wild ways and general not giving a damn ended up with him seriously pissing off his sponsors and fanbase over milk. It’s Summer’s job to keep him out of further trouble and focused on his next big win on the back of a bull. It
’s Rhett’s job to keep his hands off of Summer and win the tournament. You’ll NEVER GUESS what happens!
The book is a hotbed of tropes, riding innuendos and questionable takes from the MCs. Predictable pretty much to the last. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Did I go on to read the whole series? Also yes. I’m in my cowboy era, sorry.
